To cut through the noise of typical "anniversary car sales" advertising, I wanted this campaign to feel like a love letter to Boulder. I spent days embedded in local history, personally researching and licensing archival 1970s photographs from the Carnegie Library for Local History.
By identifying iconic local spots that existed both then and now, I established a visual framework of "transformation vs. consistency." I used these historical assets to build the creative brief and mood boards that inspired our graphic designer and video editor, ensuring the aesthetic felt authentically rooted in the distinct spirit of the region.
